Toa Reinsurance grows net income by sixfold in FY 2023

Its net written premiums, on the other hand, dwindled 12.5%.

Toa Reinsurance saw its fiscal year 2023 net income grow six times the size of the previous year’s results to $0.10m (¥15.55m). 

Similarly, it saw its total assets climb 12.8% to $6.43b (¥1.02t). Also, its net assets increased by 47.6% to $1.83b (¥289.66b). 

Bucking this trend, its net written premiums fell 12.5% to $1.77m (¥280.83m).
