Deutsche Bank appoints ex-StanChart banker as group head of IPB Global South Asia UK

Gupta will provide oversight on the GSA UK team.

Deutsche Bank has named Nisheet Gupta as managing director and group head, overseeing the IPB Global South Asia (GSA) UK team.

Gupta’s roles include providing oversight on the GSA UK team. He will also be responsible for covering a number of the most prominent ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients and strengthening the proposition for the Global Indian segment in the UK.

Gupta will be based in London and reports to Amrit Singh, managing direction and head of wealth management, GSA.

He joins from Standard Chartered Bank, where he covered the UHNW segment. Prior to this, he has over 30 years of banking experience, holding various leadership roles with Barclays Wealth and HSBC Private Bank.
