Takaful Ikhlas Appoints New President Cum CEO

Takaful Ikhlas Sdn Bhd (Takaful Ikhlas), a financial protection service provider, has appointed Ab Latiff Bin

Haji Abu Bakar as President and Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.

Abdul Latiff will replace Datuk Syed Moheeb Syed Kamarulzaman who retired from Takaful Ikhlas after serving 10

years in the company.

He brings with him more than 20 years of professional insurance experience from stints at various senior

management positions in insurance and takaful companies.

Takaful Ikhlas Chairman Sharkawi Alis said Ab Latiff would take over a growing organisation at a key moment in

its development.

"I am confident with his past experience and knowledge, he will be able to steer and lead Takaful Ikhlas to the

next growth level," he said in a statement.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Bhd, Takaful Ikhlas has emerged as one of the well-known takaful

companies in Malaysia, and has 1.8 million participants comprising individuals and companies.
