Citi Hong Kong appoints Lawrence Lam as consumer banking manager
He was previously retail banking head.
Citi Hong Kong has appointed industry veteran Lawrence Lam as consumer banking manager where he will be responsible for the various consumer business segments including retail banking, wealth management, insurance, credit cards, mortgages and consumer lending, according to a statement.
With over two decades of experience, Lam has made his way up Citi’s corporate ladder from his humble beginnings as a consumer banking management associate in 1997 to holding various senior management positions including director of consumer lending and head of sales and distribution.
He was also the previous head of retail banking where he was in charge for the management of various client segments, retail banking sales and distribution, and the full range of retail banking products and services.
Lam is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Financial Risk Manager.
