RCBC net profit up 1.38% to $109.55m in H1

Earnings per share is PHP5.63 for the period.

The Philippines’ Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) reported a net profit of $109.55m (PHP6.22b) in the first six months of 2023, its latest financial statement showed.

This is 1.38% higher than the $108.37m (PHP6.135) reported during the same period in 2022.

Earnings per share (EPS) is PHP5.63 (approximately $0.099) during the period, higher than last year’s PHP4.48 ($0.079).

Net interest income is $270.33m in H1, lower than the $281.51m a year earlier.

Comprehensive income attributable to the shareholders was at almost $84.12m (PHP4.78b), nearly double the $48.46m (PHP2.75b) in H1 2022.

Total assets were $20.6b (PHP1.17t) in H1.
