HSBC names Sharnika Silva as SEA head of trust and fiduciary services
She has worked with HSBC Trustee for 15 years.
HSBC Global Private Banking has appointed Sharnika Silva as head of trust and fiduciary services (TFS), Southeast Asia.
Silva will be based in Singapore and is tasked with driving HSBC Trustee’s strategic initiatives in the region. She will work closely with the bank’s wealth planning team to grow TFS services and will lead HSBC’s trust team aimed at assisting Asian clients and families sustain wealth and legacy.
Silva will report to Brent York, global head of TFS and to Philip Kunz, head of GPB South Asia.
Prior to her new role, Silva has worked as a HSBC Trustee for more than 15 years and held a number of leadership roles. Most recently she was Trust Relationship Management Team head and resident management and director of HSBC Trustee (Singapore) since 2017.
