Hang Seng boosts digitalisation efforts, reveals HK’s first Smart Teller
Hang Seng reveals three new service and operational solutions.
Hang Seng Bank introduced its innovative 'Future Banking' service concept at a new branch in Festival Walk on 12 July.
The branch unveiled three pioneering service and operational solutions.
The new branch features Hong Kong's first Smart Teller, combining personalised service with digital technologies.
Customers can utilise the smart banking counter in the branch's lobby to perform various banking services, such as cash deposits in Hong Kong dollars, Renminbi, and US dollars.
The Digital Branch Service Executive is available to assist with personal account-related inquiries, eliminating the need to wait at traditional teller counters and saving customers' time.

Additionally, Hang Seng Bank will launch a Simple Mode of the Hang Seng Mobile App in late July 2023.
The app will feature a user-friendly interface for basic digital banking services, catering to customers with different preferences, needs, and digital proficiency.
Further, Simple Mode includes a function that allows customers to directly contact bank staff in cases of suspicious bank or credit card activity, making it the first of its kind in Hong Kong.
