Hang Seng Bank names Shelley Zhou as head of corporate sustainability
The new executive will head its sustainability division.
Hang Seng Bank has named Shelley Zhou as its head of corporate sustainability starting 25 May.
She will be joining the Bank's executive committee.
Before joining Hang Seng, Zhou was managing principal at The Capital Markets Company Limited. During her tenure, she was reportedly responsible for creating ESG products and solutions specifically for financial institutions in the Asia-Pacific region.
Zhou established a team that provided advisory services for net-zero strategies and ESG consultancy services. She also conducted internal capacity-building programs and executive training on topics related to climate and ESG for external stakeholders.
She brings more than 18 years of diverse sustainability experience to Hang Seng Bank.
Her expertise covers various areas of sustainability, such as corporate sustainability, environmental and carbon management consultancy, as well as new energy and biotechnology in Hong Kong, mainland China, and Singapore.
