Bank of East Asia China unveils Wuxi branch

According to a release, the Bank of East Asia announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, The Bank of East Asia (China), has opened a new branch in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province.
Located in the southeastern part of Jiangsu Province, Wuxi has benefited from the Yangtze River Delta’s impressive economic growth in recent decades. Wuxi is a major centre of light industries and leads the nation in the production of textiles, apparel, electronics, and other consumer products. In addition, Wuxi is home to growing heavy industry and high tech sectors including iron, steel, IT, and recently, solar energy equipment industries. The city also has a community of flourishing private enterprises.
Currently, BEA China operates a total of 25 outlets in six cities in the Yangtze River Delta region – one of the largest branch networks of any Mainland-incorporated foreign bank in the region.
BEA China’s Wuxi Branch provides comprehensive Renminbi and foreign currency banking services to all customers. Services include account and deposit services, loans and advances, bill acceptance and discounting, dealing in government and financial bonds and non-equity foreign currency-denominated securities, documentary credit and bank guarantees, remittance and settlement, foreign exchange, debit cards and credit cards, and overseas investment services for local residents and enterprises.
