Eiichiro Yanagawa, senior analyst at Celent, will be this year’s thought leader for Asian Banking and Finance's inaugural Priority Banking & Wealth Management Conference 2018.
He will discuss how new and disruptive technologies stand to impact the wealth and asset management scene by outlining the role of digital assets for allocation and portfolio construction. He will also tackle how wealth and asset firms can generate new revenue streams from API platforms as well as how CRM can add further value to advisor-driven interaction.

Based in Tokyo, Eiichiro has strong research background on IT strategy issues in the Japanese and Asian banking scene with focus on core banking systems, ATMs, and anti-money laundering technology.
Prior to joining Celent, Eiichiro was the Chief Manager of the Financial Global Solutions Division and the Regional Bank Financial Solutions Division at NEC Corporation where he spearheaded the development of NEC’s core banking system, strategic marketing planning, and consulting on financial institution systems.
He also held the role of General Manager of the Financial Services Division at NEC Corporation of America in New York.
