BNY Mellon names Hong Kong chief executive
Francis Giglio will sit in place and his designation is effective immediately.
BNY Mellon declared the appointment of Francis Giglio as the new Hong Kong Chief Executive, effective immediately.
In his new role, he will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives in Hong Kong, which is a crucial market for BNY Mellon in the Asia Pacific region.
Fangfang Chen, the Asia Pacific Chair and Asia Pacific Head of Global Client Management at BNY Mellon, expressed the firm's unwavering commitment to playing a leading role in shaping the financial and economic landscape of Hong Kong.
Chen also highlighted Giglio's remarkable expertise in financial operations management, relationship management, and leadership in achieving results.
Chen believes that Giglio will empower their teams to deliver an exceptional client experience, enhance their commercial offerings, and successfully accomplish their regional objectives.
It's important to note that Giglio will be taking on this new role while also fulfilling his existing responsibilities as the Global Head of Relationship Management for Depositary Receipts at BNY Mellon. Prior to joining BNY Mellon in 2016, he held leadership positions at Nasdaq and the Singapore Exchange.
