It offers free insurance coverage against six women-related cancers.
Prudential Singapore and UOB unveiled a new savings account made solely for women with complimentary medical insurance for six women-related cancers, according to a news release.
UOB Lady’s Savings Account will grant a coverage amount based on a client’s monthly average balance over the past three months. The savings account also offers free annual health screenings for diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, cancer markers, and a free three-strain flu vaccination every year.
In 2018, over 40% of Prudential Singapore’s total critical illness claims were from women, with breast cancer and uterine cancer being the two most frequently reported diseases.
Further, it comes with a subsidised general practitioner consultation package for account holders and up to four dependents. Clients can consult a doctor from one of 500 panel clinics island-wide at a subsidised flat rate of $13 per visit.
