Miller builds Japan footprint with new leadership
He brings over 35 years of experience to the role.
Specialist (re)insurance broker, Miller, has appointed Kazuhiko Shinkai as head of Miller Non-Marine Japan Strategy effective from 1 July.
Shinkai will lead the operational management of Miller’s Japanese business and drive further expansion of its non-marine operations locally.
Bringing over 35 years of experience to the role, Shinkai joins from Itochu Corporation, where he held various management positions. He is a graduate of the Insead International Executive Program and has previous experience at PWC and Liberty Mutual.
Miller said Japan remains a crucial growth market for the company, especially following its acquisition of Lead Insurance Services Limited in 2022, cementing a 25-year partnership between the two entities.
