Sompo Thailand unveils new CEO

He has more than two decades of experience in the industry.

Sompo has elected Aditya V. Tibrewala as its new chief executive officer of Sompo Insurance (Thailand), effective immediately.

Tibrewala, who joined Sompo Asia Pacific (APAC) as Chief Actuary in 2016, has held several executive roles within the regional leadership team in Singapore. 

Most recently, he served as chief consumer officer, where he led Sompo’s Consumer business and oversaw operational and technical functions across APAC. 

In his new role, Tibrewala will continue to report to Kenneth Reilly, chief executive officer, of Insurance, APAC.

A fellow of the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries, UK, Tibrewala brings over 20 years of experience in the global non-life insurance industry to his new position.
