Joseph Alfred

Joseph Alfred is the Head of Policy and Technical of ACCA – the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Singapore.

In this role, he is responsible for the formulation of policies as well as development and implementation of Professional Insights initiatives to drive ACCA’s public value mission and brand objectives, ensuring that ACCA members, regulators and other stakeholders are updated on ACCA’s global technical policies.

He also works closely with stakeholders and organisations to identify opportunities where ACCA can contribute to the agenda in relation to accounting and business in Singapore and in ASEAN.

Joseph has been with ACCA since 2004. He is currently a Fellow member of ACCA, Fellow Chartered Accountant of Singapore. He holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde.

Judy Hsu

Judy Hsu is the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore and ASEAN Markets (Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Rep Offices) at Standard Chartered. She is responsible for steering the business development and execution of strategy for the bank in Singapore, the second highest contributor to the group and major driver of the performance in ASEAN and South Asia (ASA) region.

Judy Vas is the Asia-Pacific Regulatory Leader for Financial Services at EY. She also serves as a member of EY’s Global Regulatory Network and works within the global leadership team of senior former regulators to help clients manage the emerging global regulatory agenda. Judy has extensive experience of regulatory and compliance leadership and in working with regulators across the Asia-Pacific region.

He has over 18 years of experience in consulting and training for Fortune 500 companies. Over recent years, the impact of climate change and growing sustainability efforts by international agencies have led Kar Wee to spearhead more change within the financial industry, helping the banking ecosystem to generate greater profit while achieving better outcomes. He believes that it is time for Asia to take the lead in securing the Earth’s future.
