PayCommerce's Shekhar Nair to discuss his take on the current status of cross-border payments
Nair is one of the speakers at the 2017 Retail Banking Forum in Jakarta.
Shekhar Nair joined PayCommerce in March 2014. He is responsible for overall sales and business development of PayCommerce products in the region. He is also responsible for client relationship management and planning of revenue generation for all segments of business.
With over 25 years of experience in business development and consumer management, Nair is strongly connected with the payments and telecom industry having worked with global companies like Sprint, Global One, Western Union, Xpress Money(UAE Exchange) and Citigroup in the past.
Prior to joining PayCommerce, he was with Russian Bank, Commercial Bank Unistream, heading their global sales and business development for about four years. With his experience in dealing with international banking network and non banking financial institutions, Nair has a clearly defined objective of building up PayCommerce network globally in the near future.
When asked about his business philosophies, Nair said, "I strongly believe in four key aspects of business – high quality products and services, customer is the king, profitability, and the people around you."
Nair will be one of the speakers and panelists at the Jakarta leg of the Asian Banking and Finance Retail Banking Forum will be held on April 5 at the Ritz-Carlton Mega Kuningan. He will be talking about cross Border payments and its benefit to banks.
