GRG Banking to launch cassettes management solution
The cash processing & self-service solution provider has developed a new solution transforming cash management into cassettes management.
According to GRG Banking Equipment Co., Ltd., the platform consists of their high volume cash deposit machine P2801L, TAU (Teller Assistant Unit) BCD5600 and cash recycler ATM H68N/H68NL. The cash collected by cash deposit machine or by recycling ATM or TAU is placed in the intellectual cassettes that are able to store the following information: number of notes, denomination, the place where the loading happened (in which device), who has removed the cassette, etc.
The cassettes can be directly used in ATMs or TAU without recalculating and sorting the stored cash, and a monitoring system is in place for reconciliation of amounts among different points of usage of cash and acts as dispute solving system.
An included ‘cassette exchanger’ enables the cassette handler to transfer cash from one cassette to another without opening the cassette or touching the cash. The cassette exchanger can help the cassette handler to adjust the balance of the cassette before it is reused in another equipment. Cash can be loaded from one cassette to another while inside an armored car or between different cash points. The centralised system will collect and monitor all the data changes.
Cassettes will also be further equipped with cash maculation system to lower the cost of cash management by making the armored cars and armored guard excessive.
This cassettes management solution, expected to be rolled out in 2011, will be launched in the GRG Global Customer Exchange in September.
