Standard Chartered opens Saadiq branch in Sabah

Standard Chartered Bank has opened its first Saadiq branch in Sabah to strengthen its presence in the state.

 

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Osman Morad called the new branch a "new generation branch" and says it signifies the bank's confidence in the rapid economic growth potential of the state.

"This follows the recent opening of its new Kuala Lumpur Main Branch -- its inaugural 'next generation' branch in Malaysia," her said.

The new branch in Kota Kinabalu is Standard Chartered Saadiq's eighth in the country. Its other outlets are in Peninsular Malaysia including Taman Tun Dr Ismail in Kuala Lumpur, Ampang Point in Selangor, Klang, also in Selangor and Nusa Bestari in Johor.
