HSBC appoints Shayan Hazir as Chief Digital Officer for ASEAN
The former GLMC head has over 18 years of bank leadership experience under HSBC.
HSBC has named Shayan Hazir as Chief Digital Officer, ASEAN, effective 8 August.
According to the bank, Hazir is responsible for “setting the digital strategy, operating model and performance standards for digital and innovation at HSBC Singapore, and more broadly across HSBC’s ASEAN franchise.”

Prior to his new role, Hazir was head of Global Liquidity and Cash Management (GLCM) in Malaysia.
Hazir will be based in Singapore. He reports to Jee Joo Wong, CEO of HSBC Singapore, and will be a member of the Singapore executive management team.
He has over 18 years of leadership experience across HSBC’s businesses, and has worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates.
