OCBC launches digital dashboard for SMEs
The dashboard features over 40 business apps.
OCBC has unveiled a web-browser based dashboard for SMEs in a bid to provide business owners with the digital tools to view all aspects of their operations with just one log-in.
Featuring over 40 digital business applications including OCBC’s digital banking platform Velocity@ocbc, the fully customisable dashboard is able to support a wide range of business functions including accounting and expense management, sales and inventory, marketing and human resources.

The dashboard enables a business owner to easily monitor email marketing campaigns on Mailchimp, analyse effectiveness and reach via Google Analytics and check on sales, products and inventory levels using Shopify and Tradegecko.
SMEs who have already been using the apps for their operations can connect the apps or buy them directly through the dashboard. Once the apps have been connected, user-friendly graphs and charts displayed via widgets are generated from app data. Gross Profit, Weekly Sales and Website Traffic are some of the 60 widgets that business owners can choose to add.
“This dashboard is part of OCBC’s effort to go beyond banking in order to build an ecosystem that SMEs can tap on to fulfill their growth ambitions. It is something that we have been doing and will continue to do more of,” Melvyn Low, Head of Global Transaction Banking, OCBC Bank said in a statement.
The dashboard is free of charge for OCBC SME customers although the apps may be free or come with costs as much as US$200 per month. OCBC SME customers can also sign up for the Start Digital pack to get any two of the four apps - Xero, MailChimp, Shopify or Quickbooks - free for the first 12 months through the dashboard.
